Dafne and Morgan first met while attending cosmetology school, where they discovered a shared passion for barbering and helping people feel confident through their craft. After graduation, they went on to work together in a barbershop for several years, gaining valuable experience, refining their skills, and building a strong professional partnership along the way.

As they continued to grow in the industry, they began envisioning a space of their own—one that would allow them to create the kind of experience they wanted for both new and returning clients. In 2024, that vision became a reality with the opening of Empire Barbers. By establishing their own studio, they were able to continue serving the Ellensburg community in a more inclusive setting while offering greater availability and flexibility for
their clients.

What began as a friendship in cosmetology school eventually grew into a business built on shared values, dedication to their craft, and a dream of owning a barbershop they could proudly call their own.
